5 sweet potatoes, sliced
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup milk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Topping:
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Place potatoes into a pot of water & bring to boil. Simmer until they are tender, about 20 minutes. Drain immediately, peel & transfer to a large bowl to mash.

Preheat oven to 350º.

Stir white sugar, butter, milk, eggs, & vanilla into mashed potatoes. Pour into a 9x13 " pan.

Mix pecans, brown sugar, butter,& flour together in a bowl. Sprinkle pecan mixture over potato mixture.
Cover with aluminum foil

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, then remove foil & continue baking until pecans are lightly browned, aprox 5 minutes more.
