1+1/2 pounds fresh brussel sprouts cut in half
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 TB olive oil
2 TB butter
2 oz dried wild mushrooms mixed variety
1/4 cup sherry balsamic vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Soak dried mushrooms in hot water for 20 minutes or until soft.

Clean & cut Brussel Sprouts in half

Heat heavy skillet to medium high, add olive oil, butter & garlic

Place brussel sprouts in skillet cut side down, let oil & butter start to carmelize them

When nicely browned, add drained mushrooms( save soaking juice for use in other dishes)

Add vinegar & cover. Cook covered until vinegar is reduced & brussel sprouts are tender
