Scald tomatoes in boiling water and remove skin. Cut stem out. Freeze slightly and put in a plastic bag to freeze. We love to use these in chili and hot dishes.
To freeze peppers wash and cut in half. Remove seeds and dry with a paper towel. Spread on cookie sheet to slightly freeze and then toss in a plastic bag to use when needed.
