1 envelope unflavored gelating
4 tbsp. sugar
1 c boiling water
2 tsp almond extract, more if desired
1 c evaporated milk
1 c cold water

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine the gelatin and the sugar, stirring to mix well.

Pour the boiing water over the mixture and stir until completely dissolved.

Stir in the extract, milk and cold water, mixing well.

Pour into a 9" x 9" cake pan or dish, or pour into a bowl. Chill until firm.

To serve, cut the gelatin into squares and serve with fruit, canned, fresh or frozen.

This is one of Karie's favorites. It was my emergency dessert when people would unexpectedly come for dinner. It is quick to make, sets in a fairly short time and is delicious.
I used to serve it with thawed frozen raspberries or strawberries.
