2 cups brown sugar
1 cup crisco or butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp soda
3 1/2 cups flour or enough to make stiff dough
1 cup nut meats
2 eggs not beaten
2 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and roll into a roll on wax paper. Put in refrigerator to chill. Cut in slices and place on cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
