2 cups flour
3 Tbsp cocoa
2 cups sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 sticks oleo
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, measure, resift with sugar and salt in a saucepan put oleo, shortening, water and cocoa. Bring to a boil, put eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Add to the above mixture and mix well. Bake in a greased and floured shallow cake pan (15 1/2x10 1/2) Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Start icing the last 5 minutes cake is baking.
