3 cups celery, chopped coarsely
1 stick oleo
1 cup flour
1 tsp. black pepper
Saltine crackers, mashed
Butter
1 tsp. white pepper
2 tsp. salt


Directions:
Directions:
Take 3 cups of coarsely chopped celery, cover and boil in salted water until tender. Melt oleo an add flour and seasonings. Pour celery and water over flour mixture. Cook until thick. Press butter and cracker crumbs in a large baking dish. Pour creamed celery into baking dish. Press 1 to 1-1/2 pints of oysters in celery mixture. Top with cracker crumbs and dot with butter. Bake in an oven at 350 degrees until bubbly.
