1 cup butter
½ cup powered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ cup finely chopped nuts
2-¼ cups flour (Don't use self-rising flour.)
¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
2. Stir flour, salt, and nuts together.
3. Chill dough.
4. Preheat oven to 400º.
5. Roll in 1-inch balls.
6. Place on ungreased baking sheet. (Cookies don't spread.)
7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set, but not brown.
8. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
9. Cool, and roll in powdered sugar again.
