pork chops, ½-inch thick (2 large or 4 small)
1 can condensed mushroom soup
onions, chopped
bay leaf
½ cup red wine
¼ lb mushrooms, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Fry pork chops, adding a little oil if necessary. When chops begin to brown, add the onion.When the onion has fried and started to brown, put the mushrooms and undiluted soup into the pan. Stir well. Add the bay leaf and wine.

Turn heat down and cover. let simmer and bubble about 30 minutes. Inspect from time to time and turn chops over. If sauce gets too thick, add a little more wine. Just before serving, add the sliced mushrooms. Salt and pepper to taste.
