Cake batter:

1 c. flour
½ c. milk
¾ c. sugar
2 T. melted butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 sq. baking chocolate
½ tsp. salt
chopped nuts, if desired

Sauce:

2 T. butter
¾ c. sugar
1 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
½ tsp. salt
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
For sauce, mix all ingredients over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Pour sauce in a 8 x 8 pan.

For batter, melt chocolate square and butter together. Combine dry ingredients and stir into the chocolate. Gradually add milk and stir to combine. Drop by spoonfuls onto the surface of the sauce. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes or until a toothpick in center tests done. Serve warm with ice cream.
