"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Personal Notes:
We used to occasionally drive to Brookville, KS (pop. 239) to the hotel for family style Sunday dinner. The hotel restaurant had been in continuous business since 1915. It finally closed that location and moved to Abilene. I'm sure it was more accessible right off I-70, but I miss going down that dirt main street and walking over the uneven floors for some of the best fried chicken ever.
