4 slices bread, torn into pieces
3 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 medium cucumber, chopped
1/4 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl mix bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, onion, the water, and oil. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
After refrigeration, place half the mixture in blender. Blend on high speed for 8 seconds, then repeat with remaining mixture. Stir in vinegar, garlic, salt, cumin, and pepper.
Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
