1 (1 lb.) can salmon
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese (soften to room temperature)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. grated onion
1 tsp. prepared horseradish
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. Liquid Smoke*
⅓ c. finely chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or almonds)
3 tbsp. minced parsley

Crackers for serving.

Drain and flake the salmon.
Combine with the cream cheese, lemon juice, onion, horseradish, salt and Liquid Smoke.
Mix thoroughly, then cover and chill for several hours.
Combine nuts and parsley in a shallow dish.
Mold salmon mixture quickly into a ball and roll in the nuts and parsley.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve as a spread with crackers.

*Instead of Liquid Smoke, you may use ¼ tsp. of hickory smoked salt.
