2 lrg ripe avocados, halved, seeded and peeled
2 T finely chopped onion
2 T lime juice
½ t chili powder
¼ t salt
2 garlic cloves minced (may use less)

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl mash avocados. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Cover and refrigerate. Use the day it is made as it will turn brown.

To ripen avocados put in a dark place or a paper bag for a day or two and they will ripen quickly.
