2 cups softened butter or margarine
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon water
2 medium sized eggs
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups raisins
1 package of chocolate bits (12 ounce)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Beat first 6 ingredients in bowl.
3. By hand, stir in all dry ingredients.
4. Add raisins and chocolate bits.
5. Spoon, by teaspoon onto a cookie sheet.
6. Bake for approximately 8 minutes.
