1 /1/2 cup of onions
1 cup of celery
2 med bell peppers
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of butter unsalted
1 cup of water
2 tsp of parsley
1 tsp of salt
2 bay leaves
1 lb shrimp peeled
1/2 tsp of cayenne
15 oz tomato sauce (1 can)
1/2 cup of green onions

Directions:
Directions:
saute trinity in butter until translucent
add garlic and sauté until soft

remove from heat

stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings

simmer on low heat uncovered for 10 minutes, add water if needed

stir in shrimp, heat to boiling then put fire on low and simmer covered for 15 minutes.

seve over rice, and garnish with fresh cut green onions
