3/4 Cup Butter
5 Cups Flour
2 Pkg. Dry Yeast
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
3/4 Cup Milk (scalded & lukewarm)
3 Tbsp. Sugar
2 Eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Cut butter into flour. Combine milk, sugar, vanilla and stir in yeast until dissolved.

Add yeast liquid to flour mixture, beat in eggs and mix.

Knead slightly & let rise until double in bulk (approx. 2 hours)
Roll into ropes, press on sugar and twist to make loop.;

Place on ungreased cookie sheet, sugar side up.

Bake for 12-15 minutes
