2 cups water
1 cup honey
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
4 cups ground walnuts
2 Tblsp sugar
1 Tblsp cinnamon
1 package phyllo

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bring water, honey, and 2 cups sugar to a boil and set aside to cool.
Ground 4 cups of walnuts and mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Melt 1 cup butter.
Use 13½ x 8 or 9 Pyrex dish and brush with butter.
Place about 8 sheets of Phyllo on the bottom.
Divide the walnuts mixture into thirds.
Place ⅓ over the Phyllo.
Add another 6-8 sheets and sprinkle another ⅓ of walnut mixture.
Repeat and then add 8 sheets of Phyllo for top layer.
Using a sharp knife, cut about 4 rows going across.
Then start in one corner, and make diagonal lines all the way down to create diamonds.
Bake 30-35 minutes. You want the top to look golden brown. Take out of the oven and pour slowly the cool syrup over.
Set aside for at least an hour.
It will last a week on the counter.
