2 cups red currant pulp (about 8 cups currants)
½ cup water
2 cups prepared raspberries, about 4½ cups
3 cups granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine currants and water in medium pan. Bring to boil; boil gently stirring constantly for 5-8 minutes. Press through sieve or food mill. Crush raspberries one layer at a time. Combine pulp, raspberries and sugar in a pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. Boil hard until mixture almost reaches gel stage, stirring frequently - about 20 minutes. Makes 4 half pints.
