4 lbs. small pickling cucumbers
garlic clove
fresh dill
½ cup pickling salt
3 cups white vinegar
3 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Scrub cucumbers with stiff brush under cold running water. Cover with ice water and leave overnight. Drain well.
Place ½ peeled garlic clove and a sprig of dill in hot sterilized jar. Pack with cucumbers and top with another sprig of dill.
Meanwhile, combine salt, vinegar and water in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring until salt dissolves. Immediately pour boiling liquid over cucumbers. Makes about 7 pints.
