Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup bananas (2-3), mashed
4 Tbsp. milk
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 cup walnuts (optional)
Brown sugar to sprinkle on top before baking (optional).

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease or spray bottom only of loaf pan, 9x5x3. In a mixing bowl, combine ingredients in order given sugar through milk. Sift dry ingredients together and add nuts mixed in a little flour. Add to wet mixture; beat 30 seconds until just mixed. An option is to sprinkle a little brown sugar on top of batter before baking. Bake 60 to 70 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly. Loosen sides of loaf from pan by running a knife around edges. Remove from pan. Cool completely before slicing...or not, if you can't wait! Great with soft butter. To store, wrap in waxed paper. Will keep well in fridge for up to a week.
