½ c. uncooked long grain rice
2 T. dehydrated onion
1 t. salt
1/4 t. celery salt or celery seed
1/8 t. garlic powder
1/8 t. pepper
1/2 c. water
1 # ground beef
2 8oz. cans tomato sauce
2 T. brown sugar
2 t. worcestershire sauce
1-1 1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first seven ingredients. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1½ in. balls and brown in large skillet. Turn as they brown. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer til done, about 30-40 min. Add water if necessary to fully cook rice.

These are great "comfort food" and a dish I fondly remember enjoying when we were growing up.
