1½ quarts apple juice (approx. 6 cups)
½ bottle cranberry juice
¾ cup sugar
2 sticks cinnamon
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 small orange (or mandarin or clementine) studded with cloves to float on top

Directions:
Directions:
Break up the cinnamon sticks into two or three pieces each and place them in a piece of cheesecloth with the allspice. Tie at top and tape to outside of crockpot while letting the spices float inside in the liquid. Combine first 3 ingredients in crockpot and added clove studded orange to float on top. Turn on high for an hour then reduce to low.

A childhood friend gave me this recipe and we have enjoyed it at many of our Christmas gatherings. It has the added benefit of making the house smell so nice.
