1 flashlight (with batteries)
lighters/matches
toilet tissue (or baby wipes)
toothbrush & paste
soap & necessary toiletries
hand sanitizer
pocketknife
food that is appropriate for 72 hours
hard candy
whistle
heavy trash bags (protection, ponchos, etc)
tarp and rope
duck tape
glow sticks
hand warmers
first aid kits - medicines
wool and mylar blankets
water purification method
adapt to family needs (diapers, coloring books, games, etc)
