Dough
1 ¼ cups water 110°
½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 large egg
1/3 cup dry nonfat milk
¼ cup potato flour, or ½ cup mashed potatoes
¼ cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoons salt
3 ¾ cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons yeast

Fillings
½ cup apple filling, or other pie fruits
¼ cup poppy seed filling
¼ cup(1/2 stick) butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
For the dough: Place water, softened butter, egg, dry milk, potato flour, sugar, salt, flour and yeast in bow. Mix and knead until smooth. Roll dough into 24 golf ball size pieces. Place the balls 2 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet. Cover, and let rise for about 30-40 minutes, or until doubled. Next, flatten each ball slightly with your palm and use your thumb to make a depression in the center of each ball. Fill the depressed centers with about 2 teaspoons of filling. Preheat oven to 375°. Cover and let rise for an additional 15-20 minutes. Bake in the center of the oven for 13-15 minutes, until lightly golden browned. Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter while still warm, and serve.
