6 tablespoons butter (3oz)
2/3 cup granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon King Arthur lemon zest
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 large eggs
2 cups flour

Glaze
½ cup confectioner’s sugar
1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice powder
2-3 teaspoon milk.
Combine ingredients and beat until smooth. Drizzle over cooled biscotti.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and grease baking sheet. Beat together first six ingredients until smooth and creamy. Beat in the lemon juice and eggs, batter may look slightly curdled. Stir in flour.
Scoop dough onto baking sheet and form into 13’ log. Bake log for 25 minutes, remove from oven and cool for at least 10 minutes, an dup to 25 minutes. Reduce oven heat to 325 degrees. Spritz log with water and let soften for 5 minutes, then cut into ½ ‘ slices.
Set biscotti on edge and bake for another 30-35 minutes until dry and golden along the edges. Remove and cool.
