1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 clove garlic, minced
2 T. chopped parsley
1 T. basil
1 1/2 t. salt
1 qt. tomatoes
2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
2 c. ricotta or cottage cheese
1/3 c. parmesan
2 eggs, beaten
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 1/2 lb. mozzarella
1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

Directions:
Cook meats, drain fat. Add garlic, parsley, basil, salt, tomatoes, tomato paste. Simmer for 30 minutes. Stir. Combine ricotta, parmesan, eggs, salt and pepper.

Layer in greased pan: thin layer of sauce, lasagna noodles, cheese mixture, mozzarella, tomato sauce.

Repeat, cover with foil and bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for additional 20 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
