1 ripe avocado
1/2 poblano chili
1/2 garlic clove
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
2 tsps. sea salt, divided
1 tsp. black pepper, divided
1 16 oz. chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 16 0z. cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
4 whole-wheat pita rounds cut into 8 triangles
6 tbsp. olive oil

Pre-heat oven to 400º. Combine avocado, poblano, garlic, lime juice, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper in blender and blend until smooth. Add beans and chickpeas and process until smooth, 1-2 minutes. Add cilantro until finely chopped; about 10 times. Cover and chill.

Brush each pita with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper. Bake until browned and crisp. Remove to wire rack and cool.

Serve the hummus with the pita chips.
