2 eggs
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. peppermint extract
2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped almonds (optional)

Frosting:
1 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. peppermint extract
1 tbsp. cream or milk

1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well the eggs, melted butter and sugar. Add peppermint extract and melted chocolate. Stir until blended. Add flour and almonds; mix. Pour batter into greased 9" square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool about 30 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!

Frosting: Mix ingredients (confectioners sugar, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 tsp peppermint, 1 tbsp. cream or milk) and spread on cooled bars. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes.

Melt 1 square unsweetened chocolate and 1 tsp. butter together. Spread over cooled frosting.
