1 lb. Italian sausage
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tblsp. basil
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. can tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste - or - prepared spaghetti sauce
10 oz. lasagna noodles (9)
2 eggs
3 c. ricotta cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tblsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Brown meat, drain fat. Add next 5 ingredients and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Cook noodles, drain, and rinse. Beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients except mozzarella.
Layer three noodles in a 9 x 13 pan on top of a little sauce. Spread with some of the ricotta, some of the mozzarella, and some of the sauce. Repeat two more times so you end up with three layers. Sprinkle the top with some more of the mozzarella.
Bake at 375° about 30 minutes or if made early and refrigerated about 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
