Dough:
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 T. sugar
3 T. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

4 med. apples, peeled & sliced
cinnamon & nutmeg

Syrup:
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dough ingredients together and roll out. Spread apples on top and add spices. Next, roll into a jelly roll style. Cut into 1 1/2 inch segments, standing each segment on end; place onto a baking sheet. Pour syrup mixture over tops and bake at 350º for 45 minutes. It's even yummy cold!
