2 c. shelled raw peanuts
2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. water
2 T. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp.baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Spread peanuts evenly in a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan,bake at 350º for 15 minutes, stirring once and set aside. Combine next five ingredients in a dutch oven, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves, continue cooking stirring occasionally until mixture reaches a hard crack stage ( 300º). Remove from heat, stir in peanuts, soda and vanilla. Working rapidly, spread mixture thinly onto a buttered 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan,. Let cool, break into pieces.
