puff pastry (1 package)
wedge or round of brie
brown sugar
nutmeg

Heat oven to 400º

Lay out puff pastry on a parchment lined cookie sheet.

Put a ½" thick layer of brown sugar over puff pastry.

Place brie on top of brown sugar.

Put more brown sugar on top of brie.

Sprinkle nutmeg over brown sugar (if desired).

Wrap puff pastry around brie (sealing all edges and corners to avoid sugar seeping out).

Using extra puff pastry decorate top however you desire.

Bake 400º for 30 minutes.

Serve with crackers, crostini or apples.

A good friend of mine served this at a cocktail party years ago and shared her recipe since I couldn't get enough of it! Every time I make it I think of her. The recipe has been passed on to many others since then, for the same reason...you just can't get enough!
