1/4 cup crisco solid
2 cups sugar
1 cup wesson oil
3 cups flour
4 eggs, well beaten
6 bananas
1 cup nuts
1/2 teaspoon nutmet
1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
3 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, oil, and sugar. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Sift flour, soda, salt and spices together.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Also add nuts. Mix well. Bake in 3- 9" greased & floured cake pans. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Prepare heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar. Frost between layers with whipping cream covered with a layer of sliced bananas.

*This was Johnny's favorite cake growing up. It is actually better once it has been refrigerated.
