1 Big Can of Yams for a 8x8 or 2 cans for a 9x11 dish
Butter
Cinnamon
Brown Sugar
Marshmallows - 1 big bag

Directions:
Directions:
Drain liquid to the side to use some
Mash up yams, add enough fluid to make it soft and mushy but not saturated
Add in Brown sugar, I use about a heaping Tbs
1 tbs vanilla
Sprinkle cinnamon liberally over the casserole
mix all together
Cut slices of butter and place all over the top of the casserole.
Put in oven at 350º for about 30 min, you will see it bubbling
Take out casserole and line the casserole with marshmallows. The whole casserole will be lined with marshmallows.
Put back in oven until marshmallows are lightly toasted but not burnt so watch it closely.

A Family Holiday favorite! You can also add pecans for added texture. Passed down from my Mee-ma to me. Now I make it for the family get-togethers!
