Same ingredients as plain Irish Soda Bread above - Plus:

2 cups currants or raisins
1¼ tsp Caraway seeds (optional)
* (omit the Cardamom or Coriander)

Directions:
Directions:
Follow the basic recipe for Irish Soda Bread in previous recipe above.
- Omit the Cardamom or Coriander

Add 2 cups currants or rasins to flour mixture with 1¼ tsp of Caraway seed (optional)
Blend with egg and buttermilk and proceed as directed in the basic recipe above

Bake in 375 oven for 35 - 40 minutes
