1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 cups butter
3 eggs
6 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vinilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs and cream more.
Gradually add in dry ingredients which were previously mixed together.
Add in nuts.

Shape into 6 inch long rolls and wrap the rolls in wax paper.
Chill overnight or freeze.

When needed, Slice cookie dough into ½ inch cookies. Put on lightly greased baking sheet

Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

The prepared rolls can be refrigerated or frozen so that you can cook just the amount of cookies you need at the time. Very good and not to overly sweet.
