4 cups sliced apples (unpeeled)
½ cup water
¾ cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup butter
¼ tsp salt
maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Butter a baking dish and put in the sliced apples and water.

Mix together: flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter and salt. Spread mix over apples. And...for a touch of Canadiana, drizzle with maple syrup!

Bake at 350º until apples are tender and crust is brown (about 30 minutes).

And if you wish, serve with cream, whipped cream, or more maple syrup!
