2 cups sugar
1¾ cups flour
¾ cup cocoa powder
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup boiling water

Frosting:
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
3 Tbsp milk
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Grease and flower two 9 inch baking pans. In large bowl, stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and soda, and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat for two minutes on medium with whisk or mixer. Stir in boiling water. The batter will be quite liquidy. Pour into pans and bake for 30-40 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before taking out of pans.

Frosting:
Beat butter and peanut butter by hand or in a mixer. Gradually add in sugar and when it starts to get thick, incorporate the milk. If it is too thick you might need slightly more milk. Frosting should be thick and easy to spread. Beat for a few more minute to make it fluffier.
