1 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Optional vanilla and cinnamon
1 loaf thick slice French bread

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients to make the batter. Spray or oil the griddle and heat to medium. Dip bread in batter and cook on both sides until light brown. Serve with butter and syrup or jam and sifted powdered sugar. Fresh fruit is also good on top!
