1 cup white sugar
1 tsp baking powder
3 cups all purpose flour
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1 pinch salt
1 pinch ground cinnamon
2 cups raspberries
2 cups blueberries
½ cup white sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Grease one 13x9 inch pan.

Combine 1 cup of the sugar, the flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, shortening and the egg.

Dough will be crumbly. Pat half of the dough into the prepared pan.

Combine the remaining ½ cup of sugar, cornstarch and the berries. Crumble the remaining dough over the berries.

Bake at 375º for 45 minutes or until the top is slightly brown.
