1 generous ounce tequila, preferably blanco or repasado (see bottle in pantry)
1 generous ounce Contreau or (see pantry)
1 generous ounce lime juice, fresh squeezed
1/2 ounce agave nectar
Salt for rim

Directions:
Directions:
For salted rim, rub the rim of the glass with lime juice and dip into a plate of salt until coated (recommended for best-tasting margaritas).

Measure tequila, Contreau, lime juice and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake until well-chilled. Pour through strainer into martini or margarita glass. Can be served either without ice or over ice. (We enjoyed it without ice on this occasion.)

Served these for the fam with taco salad in Jacksonville, summer of 2017. We tinkered with the recipe until all agreed that it was "spot on."
