This is a recipe that is over 100 years old. A dish brought over by slaves from Africa.
Slave holders learned to make it too.

Crumble cornbread, bacon fat, or any other meat and green onions together.
Add boiling water to make like dressing. Boiled eggs may be chopped and added after dressing is cooked in heavy skillet on top of stove until it looks like dressing, stirring constantly.

This is very good and quick to make if you don't have broth to make dressing.
