4 cups of sliced cucumbers
6 medium white onions, sliced
⅓ cup course salt
5 cups sugar
3 cups white vinegar
1½ teaspoons turmeric
1½ teaspoons celery seed
2 tablespoons mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sliced cucumber and onion with salt. Let stand 3 hours and then drain.
Combine vinegar, sugar, spices in a large pot and bring to a boil. Add drained cucumbers and onion. Heat throughly but do not boil. Pack while hot in sterlized jars and seal.
