Ingredients: |
Ingredients: • 1 ¼ sour cream • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce • ½ t fresh ground black pepper • ⅓ t garlic powder • ½ t dry mustard
• 1 cup real mayonnaise • 4-6 ounces good quality blue cheese
|
|
Directions: |
Directions:• Put the first five items in a mixing bowl and mix on low for 2 minutes.
• Add the mayonnaise and mix 1 minute on low, raise speed to medium and mix another 2 minutes.
• Add half of the blue cheese crumbled and mix on low 3 minutes
• Add the rest of the cheese in larger chunks. Mix on low 1 minute. (If you like it more smooth, mix a little longer)
• Add more fresh ground pepper to taste.
• I never add salt, since it is pretty salty already. If you want it saltier, add the salt now. |

Notes: This makes a lot. Half is plenty for 4 people+, and keep in mind you can store this for no more than 5-7 days.
Gorgonzola makes a great dressing too.
My friend Jonathan gave me this recipe. I made some minor changes and think it is up there with good restaurant dressing.
You can do your own Iceberg wedge with this and crumbled bacon.
