2 lbs. ground beef.
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
3 T. Morton's Tender Quick salt
2 T. liquid smoke (optional)
1/4 tsp. mustard seed (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients. Mix well. Shape into 2 inches in diameter. Wrap in foil, shiny side toward meat. Refrigerate 24 hours. Next day, poke holes in bottom of foil roll, using a toothpick.

Pour about 1/2 inch of water in bottom of broiler pan. Place meat on broiler rack and bake at 325 about 90 minutes. Can add 2 T. liquid smoke and 1/4 tsp. mustard seed.
