1 pkg. lemon cake mix
2 Tbsp. flour
Pinch of salt
1 pkg. orange (or apricot) gelatin
2/3 cup apricot juice
2/3 cup cooking oil
4 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. orange zest
1/2 tsp. lemon zest

Directions:

Combine cake mix, flour, salt and galatin. Add juice, oil and egg yolks. Beat well.

Whip egg whites until stiff. Fold in graded rinds (zest). Carefully fold cake batter into beaten egg whites. Bake at 350º for 1 hour in a Bundt pan. Cool 8 minutes and remove from pan. Prick cake in the grooves and pour glaze over hot cake.

Apricot brandy
