4 eggs
1 large can Del Monte pumpkin
1 1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 Tbsp. melted butter
1 3/4 cup hot milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly. Add pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices. Mix well. Add butter, melted in the hot milk. Stir thoroughly. Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells. Bake at 450º for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and continue baking 35 minutes, or until done Test by inserting a knife.

This was the pumpkin pie recipe my mother always used and it is the best one I've ever run across. Uncle Harris said it was the best pumpkin pie he ever tasted and it always disappears fast.
