1 1/2 cup sugar
7 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 cups milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, cornstarch and cocoa. Put into a saucepan. Stir in the milk slowly. Bring to a boil over a medium heat, stirring constantly until thick; remove from heat. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into the egg yolks, then pour eggs into the hot mixture in the pan. Cook for 1 minute. Add vanilla and butter, stirring well. Cool until lukewarm. Pour into a baked pie shell and cover with meringue. Brown in a 350º oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
