CRUST:
2 1/2 cup flour
1 cup cold butter cut into pieces
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
FILLING:
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup corn syrup(light or dark)
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 TBSP melted butter
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup pecans, chopped or halved

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 º. Spray 15x10 pan with nonstick spray. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed beat the ingredients for the crust until it resembles fine crumbs. Press firmly into pan. Bake 20-23 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile In a large bowl beat the eggs, corn syrup,sugar,butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Immediately pour over hot crust. Spread evenly. Bake 25 minutes or until filling is firm around edges and slightly firm in center. Cool completely. Cut into 2x1 1/2 inch bars
